Introduction
Chargeback Prevention is a feature that allows you to prevent chargebacks by setting up trigger blocks and preventing potentially fraudulent transactions. You can configure trigger blocks based on various criteria, such as the number of transactions, the amount of the transaction, the payment method, and more.
We use Artificial Intelligence to detect potentially fraudulent transactions and prevent chargebacks by collected data across all transactions were made across MineStoreCMS Network.
Chargeback Prevention Overview
MineStoreCMS allows you to set up custom values for the trigger blocks to prevent chargebacks. You can configure the following trigger blocks:
- Chargeback Threshold: Set the maximum chargeback-rate percentage allowed for a user.
- Chargeback Time Period: Set the time period for the chargeback rate calculation.
- Username Threshold Blocker: Deny customers from making transactions if they exceed chargeback threshold.
- IP Address Threshold Blocker: Deny transactions from IP addresses that exceed the chargeback threshold.
- Chargeback Value Bypass: Allow customers to check out if the total value of their chargebacks is less than X% of the value of their total purchases.
- Local Ban Chargeback Threshold: Automatically ban customers who made X chargebacks on your webstore.
Default Settings are the recommended settings for the Chargeback Prevention feature. You can adjust these settings based on your requirements.
